Padmanabha Ramanujam, Dean, IFIM Law School comes with extensive experience in the field of education with institutions like Jindal Global Law School and AURO University. He completed his LL.M. from the University of East Anglia, Norwich, the UK in Intellectual Property Rights. He received scholarships including the Norwich Law School Scholarship and won the Best International Applicant Award. He also has a Masters in Business Law from the National Law School of India University.
He completed his B.A., LL.B. from University Law College, Bangalore University. He was a consulting advisor for Law School Admissions Council and was instrumental in designing 17 subject indicators to rate Universities and Colleges in India. He designed and developed E-Learning Excellence for Academic Digitisation (E-LEAD) indicators for assessing Universities commitment to e-learning. His extensive experience in academics includes working with organisations like AURO University and Jindal Global Law School.
Prof. Nishant Sheokand, Professor, IFIM Law School is an award-winning academician and an International Sports Lawyer. He has experience in working at various reputed Law Schools in India like National Law University and O.P. Jindal Global University. After having received his LL.M (2018) and B.A. LL.B (Hons.) from O.P. Jindal Global University in 2016; he pursued his 2nd Masters in Sports Management and Legal Skills from Instituto Superior de Derecho y Economía and Football Club Barcelona, Spain, where he received Economist and Jurist Magazine, Difusion Juridica Scholarship and finished top of his class. He is an Advisor and Managing Editor for Global Sports Policy Review (GSPR), a leading Sports Law e-journal in India.
He was admitted to the Delhi Bar Council in August 2016 and was an In-House Counsel for AL-Tech Global (Noida, U.P) between July 2016 and July 2017, assisting them with their entry and expansion in the Indian market. Along with his academic achievements, Mr Sheokand was also awarded the Vice-Chancellor’s Outstanding Contribution award and Ashwin Maharaj Best Footballer Award in 2016 for his performance in the field of Sports.
He had the opportunity to be a part of the founding team of Dr B.R. Ambedkar National Law University, Sonipat, Haryana from June 2019 to June 2020. He worked as a Legal Advisor to the Vice-Chancellor. He was responsible for the institution-building and received an award of excellence and institution building in January 2020 from the Vice-Chancellor of the University.
Prof. Stuti Desai-Moorchung, Professor, IFIM Law School completed her B.S.L. LLB from ILS Law College, Pune. She then completed her LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Chicago Kent College of Law, Chicago, IL. She was a fellow of the Chicago IP Colloquium and a Research Assistant at the Institute of Bio-Technology and the Human Future. She also was a Student Advisor at the Center for Computer-Assisted Learning. She completed her LL.M. and was a part of the Dean’s List. After her corporate stint, she moved to academics thereafter. She has organised and conducted several National Moot Courts, and National Seminars. She currently heads the Centre for Excellence in Intellectual Property Rights and Centre for Excellence in Comparative Competition Law. Her areas of interest are intellectual property laws and competition laws.
