Eligibility
For the position of the Advocate:
- The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree of law from any recognised college or university.
- The candidate must be registered with the Bar Council.
- The candidate must hold a strong proficient knowledge of researching, drafting and preparing legal documents and must be presentable in appearance.
- The candidate must hold a strong proficient knowledge of Indian Penal Code, Criminal Procedure Code and Civil Procedure Code, Appeals, Revision Applications and Petitions, etc.
- The candidate must be proficient in using MS Word and MS Excel.
For the position of Operations Manager:
- The candidate must have a working knowledge of the Law Operations thoroughly under any Law firm of
repute in New Delhi.
- The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream with minimum of 4 to 8 years of real time experience into operations.
- The candidate must have adequate documentary evidence to substantiate the relevant work experience of
operations
- The candidate must be immediately available to join the organisation.
Responsibilities
For the position of the Advocate: The candidate will be responsible for
- Updating the client database list and following up regularly for each case at the regular interval.
- Interpreting laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals or corporate clients cases accurately.
- Research analysis about case laws, judgments and court orders.
- Appearing in criminal or civil cases before the respective courts and drafting of letters /
replies to Police Authorities.
- Coordinating with various teams like liaison, accounts and HR teams to accumulate
data including customer files, account statements and project details.
- Vetting and advising on various legal notices received by the law firm through its clients and
providing legal opinions regularly.
- Drafting written statements, writ petitions, affidavits of evidence, injunction applications, written arguments, appeals and defenses, etc.
- Conducting in-depth legal due diligence, litigation search exercises and preparing comprehensive files.
For the position of the Operations Manager: The candidate will be responsible for
People Management
- Conducting goal setting exercise for direct reports.
- Reviewing targets and performance periodically and provide feedback.
- Conducting one – on – one meetings to understand and address employee concerns
- Identifying opportunities to cross – train employees and provide support.
- Conducting mid year and end of year performance review and ensure timely completion
on workday.
- Identifying under- performers within the team and initiate improvement remedies, create
plan and road map for performance improvement as per company policy.
- Conducting team engagement activities for team member
Client Management.
- Pro – actively communicating with the vendors, head corporate office at Kolkata, West
Bengal and sharing periodic updates on the daily basis.
- Sending timely daily, weekly and monthly reports to the head corporate office.
- Preparing and sending periodic dashboards (metrics like productivity,quality and TAT) to
- Managing relationship via regular review meeting with vendors, clients, employees, and
head corporate office at Kolkata, West Bengal.
- Communicating with the employees and Advocates daily and addressing their
grievances & resolve them regularly.
- Reporting to the HR Recruitment and Operations Head corporate office of Kolkata, West
Operations Management
- Fetching the incoming documents from the mailbox.
- Allocating the incoming volume to respective employees at the start of the day and
regularly monitor work allocation.
- Reviewing processing status from the team and keep a tab on turn – around time.
- Devising corrective actions to improve efficiencies and sharing it with the head corporate office for review.
- Updating procedure manuals with instructions on a regular basis.
Process Improvements
- Sharing process improvement ideas with the head corporate office.
- Continuously looking out for opportunities to improve process quality through building
reconciliation reports, optimizing quality control processes etc.
Salary
Salary is not a constraint for the right proficient candidate and shall be given as per the law industry standards to the selected applicant.
